Coverage Options
Understanding your coverage options helps you build a policy that protects what matters — without paying for what you don't need.
Multi-Car Policy Structure
Two or more vehicles on a single policy, each with its own coverage level. The multi-car discount applies to the whole policy when every vehicle is combined under one account and typically the same garaging address.
Liability Insurance
Covers injury and property damage you cause to others. Every vehicle on a multi-car policy must carry at least your state's minimum liability limits — bodily injury per person, per accident, and property damage.
Full Coverage Car Insurance
Liability plus collision and comprehensive. Covers damage to your own vehicle from accidents, theft, weather, and other perils. Each vehicle on your policy can carry full coverage independently — one car full coverage, another liability only.
Uninsured Motorist Coverage
Covers injury and damage when an at-fault driver has no insurance or insufficient limits. Required in 22 states; optional in others. Applies per vehicle on a multi-car policy.
